I’ve listened to Rupert 3 times. I find him condescending and hypocritical. He says people from other parties shouldn’t be allowed to basically jump ship to another. He was a Tory, people change when the values they once stood for are gone. Peoples beliefs do change. I think it was very cleverly worded to try and guilt trip Nigel. It’s emotional blackmail. He’s wasting his time. We’ve had Jewish communities in GB since 1656. William the Conquerer encouraged Jewish merchants and artisans to move from northern France to England. We have a massive Jewish following in Reform. Whilst I don’t agree with Kosher slaughter some things just (imho)have to be tolerated. Jews are not raping and killing on our streets, they don’t invade outdoor spaces to pray. They don’t push their religion down our throats. They aren’t bombing events and as far as I know the Torah/Talmad doesn’t teach how to knife Christians in the neck like the Quran does. Believe me it does and how to kill Jews and strip women of their skin. I had to stop reading it, it’s a cult not a religion. They don’t see their women as third class citizens so some things can’t be undone no matter how much we don’t like it. Rupert is very radical and I think many would agree with having him back, BUT I believe it could cause a mass exodus of Reform voters. We have a large following of British Muslims. These are the ones who work and pay taxes and like us are very anti paying for illegals. These are Muslims who have integrated and love the UK. We’d probably lose them as voters too. Rupert is racist with capital R.
He’s been seen hob nobbing with the Tories A LOT. It’s thought he wants back in but of course they won’t have him. He’s floundering as Restore Britain is failing and he just wants to latch onto us before he drowns. These are my feelings. He’s power crazy and that was the main reason he was relieved of his position in Reform. He wants to be the boss and I think it would all kick off again. He’s also a misogynist and is extremely rude to women. I know this to be absolutely true. He set about to destroy Reform and now it’s not working like he hoped, he wants back in.
Darren you really have nailed it and dissected Rupert Lowe. All of Lowe's followers should read your piece, including Reform supporters. Lowe talks about failed Tories! Yet , he works with the failed Tories!!
Rupert Lowe is exceedingly arrogant always has been always will be right down to donating his mp wage to charity every year he really thinks he’s better than the ordinary man in the street because of his back ground and he’s happy to bend the truth to suit his needs he will never put the country’s needs above his own which is why he did his own enquiry into grooming gangs because it makes him look good and not because of the survivors , he’s never put anyone’s needs above his own except for his family I wouldn’t vote for him if was the last man standing but I’d happily go and heckle him to rattle his bars 🤬
Thank you for this Darren. I totally agree with you. Initially, I was quite impressed with Rupert Lowe but as events have unfolded I have changed my view somewhat. I am a person who relies strongly on ‘gut feeling’, and it rarely lets me down. My gut feeling is that Reform needs to keep well away from Rupert Lowe and the Tories! (I do, however, rate Suella & I am bereft at the murder of Ann Widdecombe.)
What a nasty piece of work that man is, the lowest of the Lowe! He always comes across as the archetypal Tory Grandee and the only voice he listens to is his own and the only opinions he thinks worth having are his own. God, he’s so cringeworthy and very mutable - when he’s on screen, I immediately hit the mute button.
The only reason for putting out is video now is because he’s trying to put Nigel in a bad light just days from the Clacton by-election! That’s the measure of Herr Lowe.
Seems that the ‘right’ can be just as quarrelsome as the petty left in finding and magnifying division. There are differences but the attempts to vilify Restore and Rupert are as unwelcome and as unfounded as those to vilify Nigel.

... interesting comparison with Coriolanus ... I would be more Homeric and say " beware of greeks bearing gifts" ...
I read that as homoerotic at first! Oo-er!

“What have the Romans done for us?”
