Middlesbrough, still officially part of North Yorkshire, Has become unrecognisable in the last 5 years. Gone are M&S, Debenhams, BHS, House of Fraser, Top shop etc. In are Turkish barbers, vape shops, dirty looking fried chicken vendors etc. The young mums with buggies have gone replaced with menacing looking groups of Asian men smoking and dropping litter. It doesn’t feel safe, even for an old lady like me. The country is up the creek. We need you Darren. And we need Lucy too - I hope she joins Reform.
