Murder. Child rape. Gang rape. A failed asylum seeker carrying knives and petrol into a school. And a foreign criminal Britain tried to deport before he raped again. Ten recent cases Westminster cannot simply shrug away. Here is something our political class finds remarkably difficult to say:

Borderless Britain has real world consequences.

Not theoretical victims whipped up by the ‘right wing press’. Not statistics on a Home Office Excel sheet that they refuse to release to the public, in fact, Burnham’s Government is actively seeking to cover up the true extent of migrant crime data.

Real people.

A murdered 27-year-old mother. A raped 12-year-old girl. A 13-year-old groomed online. Women attacked walking home from nights out.

The fact that many migrants that have come here legally are law-abiding does not mean we should avert our eyes when someone who arrived illegally, claimed asylum, had repeatedly been refused asylum, or had already been ordered deported commits a serious crime.

Especially when access to the transparent data needed to establish the full scale of the problem is denied to us.

And the truth about what is being done to us here is denied only by the political class.

The UN Refugee Agency, hardly an outpost of Reform UK, has identified serious weaknesses in Britain’s asylum system. An audit found failures to probe important facts, poor questioning and problems with interpretation. Separate Home Office quality checks found a marked drop in the robustness of their procedures. Clear the backlog? More like rush them through. The Times reported that the failings create a risk of asylum being granted to people who are not actually entitled to it. We all know this.

This matters because in the year to June 2026 Britain made nearly 116,000 initial asylum decisions. 42,394 people were granted protection or other leave. 73,478 were refused. The grant rate was 38 per cent. But what happens to those who don’t happen to make it through the Home Office’s easy peasy line of questioning?

Consider these cases.

10. Abdoela Berhan: rejected, still here, then a girl was knocked unconscious

Young lady Cleo Lake was outside a Bournemouth nightclub when Abdoela Berhan approached her group.

The women rejected his advances.

Berhan responded by punching Cleo in the face with such force that she was knocked unconscious, suffering a broken nose and being left, in her mother’s words, a “crumpled bloody mess”.

Berhan was an Eritrean failed asylum seeker.

He had other convictions too, including assaulting a Subway worker.

In July he was jailed for six months. The Home Office said deportation was being considered. Considered? What must he actually do for you to decide he’s not a multiculturalism wet dream?

9. Both Douk Deng: refused asylum three times, then turned up at a school armed

Both Douk Deng had not been refused asylum once.

Or twice.

The South Sudanese national had been refused asylum three times.

Yet in August last year he arrived at Edgar Wood Academy in Greater Manchester carrying a hammer, a hatchet, a seven-inch kitchen knife and half a litre of petrol.

A court heard that Deng had become increasingly frustrated with the immigration authorities and wanted to create a scene to draw attention to his situation. Taking an arsenal comparable to that of an armed militia is apparently the way to do it to our new arrivals. Home grown instincts! His defence said there was no intention to injure anyone. Oh, well that’s alright then. Let’s all take more weapons than a Texan shooting range into Britain’s schools.

He admitted weapons and criminal damage offences and was jailed for two years this July. Two years. How many have been jailed longer for speech crimes?

Three rejected asylum claims.

Still here.

Armed on school premises.

At what point does “no” actually mean no?

8. Mehmet Ogur: weeks from a small boat to raping a woman

Mehmet Ogur was living at the Holiday Inn Express in Tamworth as an asylum seeker.

Reports suggest he arrived in Britain by small boat mere weeks before he sought to satisfy his insatiable appetite for barbarism.

After meeting an 18-year-old woman through Snapchat, Ogur raped her in a park.

The victim later told the court:

“He completely destroyed me.”

Ogur denied wrongdoing but was convicted of rape and attempted rape. He was sentenced in January to seven years in prison.

Whatever screening took place between his Channel arrival and being accommodated in Tamworth, it did nothing to protect that young woman.

He should never have been here, how confident are you that he’ll be gone when he’s out of prison after serving half of his sentence?

7. Sheraz Malik: awaiting asylum decision when he raped an 18-year-old twice

Sheraz Malik had lived in Italy, Germany and France before coming to Britain. Is Britain now an episode of Michael Portillo’s travel documentaries? He’s choosing destinations to stay in like a socialite with daddy’s private jet.

He then claimed asylum here, presumably favouring our thicker wedge of bed, board and benefits.

Before his application had even been decided, Malik encountered an 18-year-old woman who was drunk and vulnerable in a Nottinghamshire park.

He raped her twice.

The judge said Malik hit her when she tried to resist and made degrading comments. A probation assessment identified distorted thinking around consent, entitlement and the objectification of women. Almost like men from different cultures don’t share our own principles on women and girls, eh? Who’da thunk it!

Malik was given a 14-year extended sentence, consisting of ten years in prison and four on licence.

He had been in Britain for less than 12 months when he attacked her. How long will he still be here?

6. Abdul Khan: claimed to be a boy, then raped a 13-year-old

Abdul Khan arrived in Britain hidden in the back of a lorry in 2015 and sought asylum.

He is believed to be 28.

Online, however, he presented himself as a 14-year-old boy.

His target was a 13-year-old girl.

Khan groomed her on Snapchat, met her in woodland and raped her twice. The mode of choice for our illegal delights.

He was already serving a 23-month prison sentence for sexual communication with another child.

In August he was jailed for another nine-and-a-half years and is due to be deported after serving the required portion of his sentence. I’ll believe that one when I see it.

Here we have immigration status, disputed age and child safeguarding colliding in one grim case. Where the hell are our taxpayer-funded agencies in all of this?

5. Jan Jahanzeb and Israr Niazal: two asylum seekers rape a 15-year-old

Their victim was 15.

In May 2025, Jan Jahanzeb and Israr Niazal became involved with the girl after she was separated from her friends in Leamington Spa. A lost little girl is the perfect prey for the marauding barbarian.

She was dragged away and raped.

Both eventually admitted the offence.

Jahanzeb was detained for 10 years and eight months. Niazal received nine years and ten months.

The Crown Prosecution Service said they had targeted and assaulted a vulnerable young victim. Is anyone noticing a trend here?

Two people that we are told we have a duty to house, clothe and feed. Britain was accommodating while they sought protection, against our wishes, but accommodating nonetheless.

The result? One British schoolgirl whose innocence cannot ever be returned to her.

4. Brighton: three asylum seekers gang-rape a vulnerable woman

This case is difficult to read.

Three asylum seekers traveled to Brighton for a night out.

Their victim had become separated from her friends and was visibly extremely drunk.

They took her to the beach. Not for a romantic stroll with potential suitors in gay old England, but something far darker.

Ibrahim Alshafe and Abdulla Ahmadi raped her. Karin Al-Danasurt encouraged and filmed the attack.

The woman later said that when she closes her eyes she can still see them laughing.

Ahmadi and Alshafe were each jailed for 21 years. Al-Danasurt received 18-and-a-half years.

The three had been living in Home Office-approved asylum accommodation. The kind of dispersal accommodation that sees scores of migrant men moved into migrant HMOs. Ahmadi and Alshafe had met while crossing the Channel by small boat from France.

It is worth dwelling on that.

They met on the journey into Britain and this is what they both concluded was acceptable here.

Months later, they were together on Brighton beach while a woman was raped.

3. Ahmad Mulakhil: four months from small boat to the rape of a 12-year-old

Ahmad Mulakhil came to Britain from Afghanistan by small boat.

Four months later he targeted a child.

She was 12 years old.

Mulakhil abducted her, raped her, sexually assaulted her and made an indecent recording of the ordeal as some kind of twisted trophy.

The girl told the court that he laughed during the attack. I know this is all very difficult to read, but read it we must. We must all wake up to the truth of the kind of third world culture that is being imported here. To challenge this is not racist, it is fact.

Mulakhil was convicted of multiple offences and sentenced in March to 15 years in prison.

Four months.

From entering Britain illegally across the Channel to destroying the childhood of a 12-year-old girl.

Even the most ardent Labour voter can surely conclude that they can support asylum in principle and still believe the state has an obligation to explain how this was allowed to happen. If not, what in the holy living hell is wrong with you?

2. Deng Chol Majek: less than three months in Britain before murdering Rhiannon Whyte

Rhiannon Whyte was 27 years old.

She was a mother.

She worked at the Park Inn hotel in Walsall.

Living at that hotel was Sudanese asylum seeker Deng Chol Majek.

Majek is believed to have entered Britain by small boat less than three months before the killing.

After Rhiannon finished work, he followed her to Bescot Stadium railway station.

Then he stabbed her 23 times with a screwdriver, including 19 wounds to her head.

She died three days later.

Majek returned to the hotel and changed his bloodstained footwear.

He was convicted of murder and sentenced in January to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 29 years.

Mr Justice Soole observed that Rhiannon and her colleagues had been serving and helping Majek at the hotel. Serving an animal like he was a paying customer, only, he wasn’t paying, we were.

She went to work.

She helped house people seeking sanctuary in this country.

She never came home. She leaves behind a little boy and a broken family. I was the only broadcaster to reach out to the Whyte family during this all, it broke my heart to be unable to speak about their ordeal before the court case had concluded.

They now take part in rallies and interviews to spread awareness of what is happening to Britain and what happened to their darling Rhiannon.

1. Gift Oladele: Britain tried to deport him. He beat deportation. Then he raped a 19-year-old.

This is the case every politician defending the present deportation system should be forced to answer.

Gift Oladele was not an asylum seeker. He was a Nigerian national who had lived in Britain from childhood.

And Britain had already discovered that he was dangerous.

In 2022, Oladele was jailed after falsely imprisoning another young woman in a sexually motivated attack.

The Home Office moved to deport him.

Oladele appealed.

He argued, among other things, that deportation would breach his Article 8 right to private and family life.

He won.

An immigration judge decided the balance favored allowing him to remain in Britain.

Then came September 2025.

A 19-year-old woman was walking home after a night out in Wrexham.

Oladele insisted on accompanying her.

He dragged her onto an isolated footpath, sexually assaulted her and raped her.

North Wales Police described him as a “dangerous predator”.

He was sentenced to 17 years in prison with another eight years on extended licence.

Had the original deportation taken place, that rape could not have happened in Britain.

That isn’t speculation.

It is geography.

HOW MANY MORE?

Again, these ten cases do not establish that migrants generally are more likely to commit crime.

But they establish something else beyond argument.

There are crimes committed in Britain by people whose presence here depended upon decisions made by the British state.

Some had crossed the Channel illegally only months earlier.

Some were living in asylum accommodation.

One had been rejected three times.

One successfully defeated deportation after already committing a serious offence.

Those facts are politically relevant.

The answer cannot be to hush them up because somebody somewhere might draw an unfair conclusion about every migrant. I do not care about sensitivity. I care about my country and community.

Government does not get to evade scrutiny because scrutiny is uncomfortable.

I want proper publication of crime data by nationality and immigration status.

I want figures showing how many foreign criminals successfully resist deportation, on what grounds, and how many subsequently reoffend.

I want rejected asylum seekers removed swiftly.

I want age claims properly verified.

And I want an asylum process capable of testing whether people’s stories are actually true.

None of this conflicts with offering sanctuary to genuine refugees.

In fact, the opposite is true.

An asylum system riddled with weak decision-making, endless appeals and failure to remove people who have no right to remain will eventually destroy public support for asylum altogether.

Britain can be compassionate.

But we cannot be suicidal in that compassion.

And our first duty must surely be to the people already living here.

The 19-year-old in Wrexham.

They should not become footnotes in somebody else’s immigration story.

Britain does not owe everybody in the world admission.

It does owe its own people protection.

Imagine you’re a young lad from Crewe or Consett, looking at a career in the forces. You want to serve your country, learn a trade, and maybe stand for something bigger than yourself in a modern world in which everything is so instant and vapid. Then you turn on the news and see Sir Keir Starmer swanning around Paris, grinning like a schoolboy who’s just been patted on the head by Emmanuel Macron.

The “Paris Declaration.” It sounds grand, doesn’t it? Starmer has committed British troops to a “peace force” in Ukraine. “Military hubs” in Donetsk. “Reassurance forces” in Kyiv. He’s found an “iron-cast commitment” to defend a border 1,500 miles away with your life and your tax money. Yet, when it comes to the invasion at Dover, he’s about as firm as a wet paper towel.

Let me be clear, because the usual bad-faith brigade will try to twist this. This is not an argument against Ukraine, nor against our armed forces, nor against young men and women choosing to serve. Quite the opposite. Those who put on the uniform — like my late grandfather before them — are heroes in my eyes. They deserve honour, protection, and a country worthy of their sacrifice.

Nor is it unreasonable for Britain to support allies abroad. A serious country can walk and chew gum. But what Starmer is proposing isn’t solidarity — it’s sanctimony. He has found moral clarity, political will, and unlimited rhetoric for a border 1,500 miles away, while treating Britain’s own border as an embarrassing inconvenience best ignored.

That is the problem. Not Ukraine. Not the Army. Not the young lad from Consett or Crewe thinking about signing up. The problem is a political class that will happily wrap itself in borrowed heroism overseas while abandoning the very people who do the fighting — and the country they come home to.

If you’re thinking of signing up, you have to ask: Why? Why risk your life for a government that treats our own borders like a suggestion, but treats a frozen trench in Eastern Europe like the last stand of civilisation?
